At Seamwork, we are on a mission to help our members connect with one another on a deeper level. There's something profoundly satisfying about the connections formed through face-to-face gatherings, which is why we've created Seamwork Social Club.
Seamwork Social Club is a member-led program that celebrates the benefits of coming together in person in order to build connection through shared experiences.
Seamwork Social Club creates space for individuals of all skill levels to nurture their love for sewing, forge friendships, and build sewing communities at a local level.

We are looking for volunteer Social Club Leaders!
This opportunity is for anyone who:
- Is an active Seamwork Member.
- Is motivated and willing to support and build community through in-person events with other Seamworkers in your area.
- Is able to commit to the program for one year (planning and hosting four events total).
Build community and keep people engaged with sewing by spreading creativity and fun through enthusiasm, camaraderie, inspiration, and shared knowledge.
Make connections and sewing friends in your area!
Dedicated communication channels with other Seamwork Leaders around the globe.
PLUS! You'll get a free Seamwork Annual Membership.
- Shape what your local club looks like through hosting events.
- Build an in person community! Seamwork will help connect you with local members in your area to grow your club.
- Connect with other Leaders and the Seamwork team.
- Help shape the program by sharing what has worked well for you, and what could be improved, and learn from the experiences of other Leaders.

Here's the Process:
- Request to be an applicant by filling out the Application Form below.
- We will reach out to set up a short Zoom interview.
- If you are selected we will email you orientation materials and we can set up an optional Zoom orientation meeting if you need it. If you weren't selected for this round of our program, we will let you know via email.
