Seamwork Magazine tells stories about sewing. Each issue celebrates a new way to think about your creative practice and introduces you to new creative makers in sewing, textiles, fashion, and other crafts.

If you are interested in writing for Seamwork, follow these steps.

Submit your pitch! Email 1-2 paragraphs describing your writing project to:

We may take up to a week to respond, depending on the volume of submissions. Please know that this is because we are a small team and we take time to read every pitch.

Our magazine prioritizes marginalized voices, including BIPOC makers, LGBTQ+ makers, and makers with disabilities or makers who have overcome challenges to practice this craft. Haven't seen your story in the pages of Seamwork yet? We'd love to publish it.
